STABLE is open seasonally, from spring until King's Birthday weekend, and closed over winter. We're open Saturday and Sunday, 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, and you're welcome to enjoy the outdoor seating until 1 pm.

We also take a short break over Christmas and New Year, so please check our social media for holiday hours.

STABLE is just 2 km out of Greytown - around a 5-minute drive. We’re well signposted, and you’ll find us at 201 Kuratawhiti Street, Greytown.

If you’re driving, please take care on our little country road, as it has no footpath and a 60km/h limit. The road is also popular with walkers, runners and cyclists, so please take it slow and be considerate of others sharing the road with you.

We have plenty of parking available in our grass paddock. Just park up, walk through the gate, and come on in!

Yes, we have a selection of delicious gluten-free options, including our savoury frittatas, and our brownie and ginger crunch are also gluten-free.

We also have vegetarian options. Unfortunately, we cannot currently offer dairy-free options. Our kitchen also handles other common allergens, including egg, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame. If you have an allergy or intolerance, please let us know when you order, and we will do our best to help.

Unfortunately, we don’t take bookings; STABLE is very much a ‘come on in and find yourself a spot’ kind of place.

We have plenty of seating in front of STABLE, with tables moved around depending on the sun, so there are always lovely spots to settle in and enjoy your visit.

Stable sits in a garden setting with a mix of lawn and gravel, and the cafe itself is a converted stable with some steps, so wheelchair access can be tricky depending on the conditions.

Absolutely! Dogs are very welcome at STABLE - we think they’re just as much a part of the place as the humans! So bring your four-legged friends along and make yourselves at home.

We’re sorry, but our gardens and wider property aren’t open for wandering.

Our family home is also on the property, and we need to protect our family’s privacy, as well as our neighbours' privacy.

We do have a beautiful seating area in front of STABLE where you’re very welcome to relax and enjoy your visit.
